What is the best way to use the tool?

Just do it! And with a smile. The assessment is meant to be easily completed in one sitting. The questions will appear one by one and you will be able to skip and return to questions as needed until you complete the assessment.

How long is the assessment?

There is a short demographics section followed by 48 questions to get through the assessment.

How much time does it take to complete the assessment?

Don’t stall out too long, the assessment must be completed in a single session. This means that closing the window or tab will end your session and any progress may be lost. However, we have built-in safeties so that you can comfortably navigate the assessment and respond to all the questions on your own time. The session will not be lost if you keep the page open, refresh the page, and navigate between questions. Timing depends mainly on how clear you are on your venture approach and personal needs, however, most are able to complete the assessment within 30 minutes.

What happens if I’m not sure about an answer?

If you need a little more information or clarification along the way, you can check out the question tips sprinkled throughout assessment for some extra insight. If you’re still left pondering what in the hell we’re talking about, feel free to connect with us over Chat between the hours of 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time. If you're truly stuck playing the undecided card, go with your gut or select a neutral response like 5 or 6.

What is the Straight Goods Report?

The Straight Goods Report is the summary and interpretation of your assessment results. It will include a graph containing your individual and overall success scores, interpretation of the scores, general summary and points to consider in relation to your highest and lowest ranked questions.

How do you determine my results?

Using the experience of our team and a broad sampling of successful entrepreneurs, we developed a balanced algorithm that assesses your answers against weighted variables and against how important each characteristic is to you.

What do you do with my data?

Your data is safe with us!  The questions are designed to prevent you from divulging excessive details that could compromise the integrity of your idea. We're here to lighten the load, not put in the hard work - that’s all up to you.  For more information on this check out our Privacy Policy.

Will I get a copy of my results?

The overall scoring results will be displayed immediately upon completion of the assessment. A PDF copy of the results and AI-generated interpretation will be sent once the premium feature has been unlocked.

How much does it cost to take the Straight Goods assessment?

Your overall scoring results will be available to you upon completion of the assessment, however, you will need premium access to unlock the AI-generated interpretation of your results.

Is the assessment available in other languages?  

We love this question - soon! We have built Frank on a multilingual platform and have near future plans to make Frank available in many languages so that it is accessible to everyone. We know that there are entrepreneurs in every country around the globe.
